The Rolex Giraglia is one of the most famous offshore Mediterranean races in the yachting calendar. It has been held annually since 1953 and has been conceived to promote friendship between France and Italy, with 2019 celebrating the 67th edition. The action starts in the historic port of St Tropez with three days of inshore racing.
Then the fleet will embark on a 243-nautical mile offshore race to Genoa, Italy via the Giraglia, a rocky outcrop off the northern tip of Corsica to then finish in its traditional destination, Genoa.
